1. Is this for one-to-one conversations or bulk marketing?
Two-way SMS describes a message exchange where a recipient can reply. A business can use one-to-one service conversations or a separate bulk messaging workflow. This concept focuses on customer conversations; the actual product’s campaign and bulk features are not confirmed.
2. Can employees text customers from a company number instead of personal phones?
That is a core requirement for this concept. A shared business inbox could support it, but the actual number type, staff access, and supported devices must be confirmed with the selected provider.
3. Can remote employees send and receive messages from a browser?
This site is designed around a web-workspace requirement. Browser access and any claim that the service works without custom API development remain unverified until the real product is selected.
4. Should a small team share one number or give each employee a separate number?
A shared number can keep the customer experience consistent; separate numbers can distinguish teams, locations, or programs. The right choice depends on ownership, privacy, reply routing, and the provider’s number model. Loopline’s supported configurations are not confirmed.
5. Can staff share conversations but only receive their own notifications?
That requires per-user or per-conversation notification controls. The feature is a requirement, but no notification behavior has been verified for this concept.
6. Can a teammate see earlier messages and take over a conversation?
Conversation context and handoff are planned requirements. Confirm history visibility, assignment, internal notes, and audit details with the product before relying on them.
7. Can I text from my existing business, landline, or VoIP number?
It depends on the exact number, carrier, voice setup, and provider. Ask the provider to check eligibility for messaging and whether voice service will be affected. This site has no confirmed number inventory.
8. How do I move an existing number without interrupting service?
Ask both providers for the eligibility check, required account information, transfer steps, expected timing, and continuity plan. Coordinate any service changes with their explicit guidance; no migration timeline is confirmed here.
9. Can incoming customer texts appear in a shared Outlook inbox?
Email routing or an Outlook integration must be verified for the actual product. Confirm whether replies can be sent from email, whether conversation history stays synchronized, and who can access the mailbox.
10. Can customers text photos or files?
That depends on MMS and attachment support. Confirm accepted media, file size, storage, retention, and how staff view attachments. This capability has not been verified.
11. Is pricing monthly, per user, per message, or extra for numbers and registration?
Pricing is not set. The final page should disclose the actual subscription, users, message usage, phone numbers, registration charges, taxes, and any overages that apply. See the pricing status page.
12. How should I start texting an existing customer list?
First review how each contact was collected, what messages they agreed to receive, and whether the intended message is within that expectation. Confirm the applicable rules and provider requirements before importing or sending to the list.
13. What consent records and opt-out process should a business keep?
Keep records that support how permission was obtained and provide a process to recognize and honor opt-out requests. The exact obligations vary by program and jurisdiction; review current FCC materials, carrier rules, and qualified legal advice. The concept does not yet provide a verified consent-management feature.
14. Does a U.S. business need A2P 10DLC registration?
For application-to-person messages sent to U.S. recipients over a U.S. local 10-digit long code, providers commonly require A2P 10DLC registration. Twilio’s documentation describes Brand and Campaign registration for traffic sent through its service. Confirm the applicable number type and workflow with your own provider. See the registration guide.
15. Can registration be submitted during a trial, and does it cost extra?
Trial eligibility, fees, required business information, industry review, and processing time vary by provider and account. Ask the provider before choosing a trial; this concept has no trial or registration terms.
16. Why might messages be filtered or fail to deliver?
Possible causes include registration or number issues, incomplete or mismatched campaign information, provider/carrier filtering, recipient or content restrictions, and technical delivery errors. Ask the provider for the specific failure status and remediation steps; no service can promise delivery to every recipient.
17. What is the daily limit or sending throughput?
It depends on the provider, number type, registration, campaign, carrier, and account status. This concept has no verified throughput or volume limit; request the provider’s current account-specific limits and escalation process.
18. Can I send appointment reminders and receive confirmations or rescheduling replies?
This is an intended use case. Manual two-way replies, automated reminders, and scheduling-system integrations are different capabilities. Confirm which are actually supported before promoting them.
19. Can I send order or service updates and let customers reply with questions?
This is an intended use case. Confirm how updates are triggered, whether an order or service platform must be integrated, and how replies route to the responsible team.
20. Can one business number handle calls and texts?
It depends on the number type and provider’s voice and messaging configuration. Confirm inbound and outbound calls, caller ID, voicemail, SMS/MMS, and any porting impacts for the exact number.
